OSMA Names 2015 Outstanding Shepherd

A Grand Valley sheep producer has been named the province's Outstanding Shepherd for 2015.

Bill McCutcheon of Mulmur Vista Farm received the award at the recent Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency's 30th annual General Meeting in Alliston.

The award recognizes significant contributions to the advancement of the Ontario sheep industry and is presented annually to an Ontario shepherd who exemplifies the values of leadership and responsible sheep husbandry.

The Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency is a producer organisation representing all aspects of the sheep industry in Ontario.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
