More Cattle Judging Results From The 2015 Royal

A strong showing for a Mount Forest exhibitor in the Royal's Charolais competition.

Brian Aitken of Bridor Charolais teamed up with Gold Bar Livestock of Guelph with the Female Champion Calf.

Bridor also showed the Champion Bull Calf and took Progeny of Dam honours.

Chatsworth's Jeff Packer of Packer Charolais had a second place finish in one of the Charolais categories at the Royal.

River Valley Polled Herefords of Guelph had the Senior Yearling Heifer Champion, Junior Division Calf Champion and took home the Get of Sire award from this year's Hereford competition at the Royal.

Swanridge Livstock of Ariss had one first-place finish and Heather and Bruce Ribey of Paisley had a second among the various Hereford categories at this year's Royal.

Wellington County's Blenview Farms showed the Senior Division Bull Calf in the National Shorthorn Competition at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

Hill Haven Shorthorns of Duntroon showed the Grand Champion Female Shorthorn.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
