U.S. Cattle Inventory Up

The U.S. cattle inventory was up 2 per cent on November 1st from the same time last year.

However, the USDA says both placements and marketings in October were below 2014. Placements were 4 per cent below at 2.8 million head. Marketings, at 1.63 million head, were down 3 per cent.

According to the USDA, those October marketings were the lowest for October since the recording series began in 1996.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
