Agribition Results For Local Cattlemen

Bridor Charolais of Mount Forest was the co-owner of one of the top animals in the Agribition's National Charolais Show.

She was named Reserve Champion Senior Division Female Charolais in the show.

Other Western Ontario exhibitors at the Regina included MacCrostie Livestock of Paisley, Gilchrist Farms of Lucknow and Patchell Livestock of Hanover.

Among the other Southern Ontario exhibitors at the Agribition - Crawfdown Farms of Glencoe, with the Reserve Senior Division Champion Shorthorn Calf.

Other Southern Ontario exhibitors with top three finishes included Watson Cattle Company of Appin, Hill Haven Farm of Duntroon, Rollin Acres Charolais of Mulmur, and Sunrise Charolais of Stayner.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
