WTO's Ruling On COOL Retaliatory Tariff Levels Is In

The World Trade Organisation has made it's ruling how much trade retaliation Canada and Mexico can take on the U-S over Country Of Origin Labelling.

The WTO arbitrator says Canada can impose just over 1 billion dollars, Canadian, in retaliatory tariffs .

Canada had asked for 3 point 1 billion a year.

Mexico will be allowed to impose almost 228 million, U-S, in retaliation.

Mexico had asked for 713 million.

Both countries had successfully argued the U-S COOL rules violated WTO trade rules.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
