Huron's IPM 2017 Group Launches 3 Projects

Huron County is hosting the IPM and Rural Expo in September of 2017 - almost 2 years from now.

However, organisers have already launched three traditional IPM projects.

Their Cookbook, Beautification Contest and Quilt Project are all officially underway.

The IPM 2017 Cookbook is called Take A Tour Through Huron County Kitchens - and includes photographs of Huron County scenes.

Copies are available by phone at 519-522-0399 - and will be available through local retailers during 2016-17.

The Beautification Contest got a kick-off thanks to a 25 thousand dollar donation from Trillium Mutual Insurance of Listowel.

Information on that is available at 519-233-5393.

And the blocks being sold to become part of the quilts to be raffled off before and during the 2017 IPM will soon be available for sale.

The email address for that is 2017quiltcommittee@gmail.com.

The 2017 IPM and Rural Expo in Huron County also has a website for more contact information.
