Cattlemen's Group Cautions COOL Not Over Yet

The Canadian Cattlemen's Association says the U-S omnibus bill including the repeal of COOL is an encouraging sign.

But the CCA cautions there is still a lot of work to do before the omnibus bill becomes law.

An Association statement points out Canada could be in a position to impose retaliatory tariffs as early as Friday.

The CCA says it hopes awareness of that fact in Washington will be useful to avoid retaliatory action becoming necessary.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
