Labour Group Wants Laws To Cover Migrant Workers

The Ontario Federation of Labour is calling on the province to extend labour law protections to migrant workers.

The OFL points out the provincial government is in the midst of a historic review of labour laws in the province.

Spokesman Ahmad Gaied says that makes it a good time to extend all those protections to migrant workers and implement his organisation's Migrant Workers' Bill of Rights.

The call comes as the OFL marks International Migrants Day today.
