U-S Cattle Placements Way Down In November

The inventory of cattle and calves on feed in the U-S on December 1st was slightly below where it was a year ago.

The USDA reports 1 point 6 million head of cattle were placed on feedlots in November while 1 point 53 million head of fat cattle were marketed.

That placement number was down 11 per cent from 2014 and the lowest for November since the series began in 1996.

U-S fed cattle marketings were up 4 per cent from November of 2014.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
