Smartphone App Gives Growers Pesticide Label Access

Federal Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay describes it as a useful tool to help farmers incorporate best management practices in real time.

It's a smartphone app from Health Canada that allows users to access pesticide labels registered for use in this country.

They can see specific pesticide label instructions and search the pesticide label database by things such as product name, chemical or pest.

It's called Pesticide Labels.

It's free - and available from mobile device app stores including Google Play and the iTunes App Store.
