FAB Nominations

The CKNX Radio Farm Advisory Board wants to recognize the agricultural and community contributions of an individual or group from Midwestern Ontario.

The Board is now accepting nominations for it's annual FAB Award.

The award recognizes the long-term contributions of a Midwestern Ontario individual, group or organisation to agriculture and the rural community. Recent recipients have included the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture, Huron County's Marilyn Broadfoot and Larry Skinner from Perth County. More details, including the nomination form, are available in the Farm Advisory Board area of the Agrimedia section of Blackburn News dot com.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
