Huron-Bruce MPP Appreciates Feedback

The MPP for Huron-Bruce says she appreciates the feedback she received from producers and municipal officials at last week's Meet the Members event hosted by the Huron Federation of Agriculture.

Lisa Thompson referred to the concerns of farmers that support programs, like Risk Management, be kept up to date and caps adjusted to reflect current costs and conditions. But Thompson also heard very clearly from municipal councillors about their concerns with downloading from the province.

Thompson points out there is only one taxpayer and that pocket is getting empty.

She suggests Queen's Park has to get the message that it's time the Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments get on the same page and start working to help the taxpayer.
