CASA Getting Farm Safety Funding Support From CN

CN has made a three-year commitment to help fund the Canadian Agricultural Safety Week.

The company's Sam Berrada says maintaining a constant focus on working safely is absolutely essential when working with heavy machinery.

He points out that's part of daily life on both the farm and the railway.

CN's investment in the Canadian Agricultural Safety Week complement's it's existing Rural Safety Fund program.

That's a joint partnership with 4-H Canada which funds 4-H youth-led rural community safety initiatives across Canada.

Free Canadian Agricultural Safety Week materials are available on the website agsafetyweek.ca.

There's also information there on this year's social media contest, where farm families sharing their story of how they keep family members safe on the farm using the hashtag #AgSafeFamily can win prizes.
