U-S Cattle Placements Up 10 Per Cent In February

The number of cattle on feed for the slaughter market in the U-S on March 1st was up 1 per cent from a year ago.

The USDA says the total inventory was 10 point 8 million head.

Placements during February totalled 1 point 71 million head - 10 per cent more than a year ago.

February cattle marketings in the U-S in February, at 1 point 59 million head, were 5 per cent above 2015.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
