Mexico Now Accepting Canadian Poultry Meat

Mexico has re-opened its border to Canadian fresh poultry meat.

The border was closed in 2004 following an outbreak of Avian Influenza.

The Canadian products now being allowed back into Mexico include chicken, turkey and duck meat.

Industry estimates put the value of the restored access at about 3 million dollars a year.
