Cronin Returns To Ontario Pork Chair For 2016

Amy Cronin calls it a welcome responsibility.

The Bluevale-area hog producer has been re-elected Chair of Ontario Pork.

Referring to the organisation's recently-released Social Responsibility Report, Cronin says she's excited to work with the board and the province's producers to further the industry in a positive and transparent way.

Eric Schwindt was re-elected Vice-Chair at this week's board meeting.

Ontario Pork directors for the coming year include Chris Cossitt, Doug Ahrens, John de Bruyn, Oliver Haan, Arno Schober, Teresa Van Raay and Bill Wymenga.

Ontario Pork represents almost 14 hundred farmers who market just over 5 million hogs a year in the province.
