Brussels Livestock Hosting Canadian Auctioneering Championships

It's liable to be a little louder than usual at Brussels Livestock on Friday, May 13th.

They'll be hosting the Canadian Auctioneering Championships.

About 30 auctioneers from across Canada will be taking part in the competition.

The event is open to the public.

It starts at 10 a.m..

Huron County Beef Producers will be on hand to serve up beef on a bun to those attending.

The competition is part of this year's Livestock Auction Markets Association Annual General Meeting and Convention.

It runs from May 12th to the 15th, with the meetings being held in Grand Bend.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
