Agri-Food Exports To Grow 4 Per Cent In 2016

Export Development Canada is expecting this country's Agri-Food exports to increase by 4 per cent this year from 2015.

That's double the EDC's 2 per cent forecast for total Canadian export growth for this year.

However, it's only half the 8 per cent growth the sector posted in 2015.

And the EDC's spring Global Export Forecast expects Canadian agri-food exports to slow to a 3 per cent increase in 2017.
