Ontario's 11th PED Case Confirmed

A new case of PED has been confirmed in a farrow-to-wean hog operation in Elgin County.

The diagnosis was confirmed Monday.

It's the 96th confirmed case in the province since the disease was first found on a Middlesex County farm in January of 2014.

It's the first case since the end of March.

And it's the 11th confirmed case of PED in Ontario this year.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
