Improving Value-Added Cereals Crop Usage In Canada And Abroad

A new hire has been announced for the Ontario Grains Lab.

Paolo Santangelo starts work as the Lab's Commercial Manager - Cereal - on June 6th.

The Ontario Grains Lab is a joint venture between Grain Farmers of Ontario and SGS Canada.

GFO CEO Barry Senft says Santangelo will help position Ontario as a leader in supplying high quality cereal products to both domestic and export markets.

As Commercial Manager - Cereal, Santangelo will head up the Lab's development as a leading analytical testing facility in Canada.

The focus of the job will be working with Ontario and Canadian cereal crops to improve value-added usage within domestic and export markets.

Santangelo has more than 12 years of experience in the manufacturing of food ingredients.

He was most recently the Director of Quality and Technical Sales for Rogers Foods Limited.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
