Ontario Ag Education Group Celebrates 25 Years With New Name

Ontario Agri-Food Education has a new name - and a new logo.

It's now called AgScape.

Chair Lorie Jocius says it's a hybrid of Agriculture and the vast landscape of food production and the environment.

Jocius says it's also an effort to keep up with tech-savvy students as the organisation continues its service to schools and the Ontario agri-food sector.

The changes were unveiled at the organisation's recent annual meeting in Milton.

This is the 25th anniversary year for the not-for-profit organisation.

AgScape provides curriculum linked and balanced resources to Ontario schools on agriculture, food production, environmental sustainability and related topics.
