Grey-Bruce, Lambton-Middlesex OFA Director Spots Up For Election

Five Ontario Federation of Agriculture Zones could have Director elections this year.

That includes Grey-Bruce and Lambton-Middlesex.

Nominations for those provincial director spots are open until the end of June.

Nominees have to be OFA voting members who live in the zone they're running in.

Nominations will be published after June 30th.

Nominees for those OFA provincial director spots will have until July 8th to refuse their nomination.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
