Ontario Soybeans Seeing Some Ozone Damage

Ozone damage is starting to show up in some soybean fields across the region.

Jeff Jacques of Parrish and Heimbecker says it happens when we get humid, low quality air with intense sunshine.

Those conditions cause the ozone levels to increase, damaging the lead tissue in the plants.

The good news - Jacques says the soybean plants will grow out of this ozone damage okay.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
