Farm Management Scholarships Available For 2016

2 Robert L. Ross Memorial Scholarships are being offered this year.

The scholarships provide over 8 thousand dollars for a farmer to participate in the CTEAM program.

CTEAM stands for Canadian Total Excellence in Agricultural Management.

The program teaches farmers detailed financial, marketing and human relations managemetn skills using their own operation as a case study.

The scholarship is a tribute to the passion, leadership and legacy of Robert Ross, who was instrumental in guiding the CTEAM program.

Ross passed away in March of 2014.

The scholarship is financed by Agri-Food Management Excellence, Farm Management Canada, Family Farms Group and the Ross Family along with an additional , private contributor this year.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
