Agropur Makes Major Investment In Quebec

Agropur Dairy Cooperative has officially opened its new head office complex in Longueuil, Quebec.

President Serge Riendeau says it represents a major investment and long-term commitment to Quebec.

The 100 million dollar facility will eventually house 800 Agropur workers.

The Quebec-based co-operative is the world's 16th largest dairy processor by milk volume.

It has annual sales of almost 6 billion dollars and 38 plants across North America.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
