Huron Teams Set For Regional Go For The Gold Competition

Huron County has it's two teams for the regional 4-H Go For The Gold Competition.

The competition tests members knowledge and skills in over 60 different 4-H project areas.

They're also tested on general 4-H knowledge, their communities and current events.

The top team in the Huron competition was the Hensall Life Skills team of Evan Krebs, Emily Bieman, Sarah Hendricks and Katelyn Parsons.

The runner up was the Wawanosh team of Connor Rodger, Michaela Rodger, Loretta Higgins and Maitland Higgins.

Those two teams will be taking part in the regional Go For The Gold competition coming up August 17th in Clinton.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
