Looking For Pork Consumer Education Volunteers

Ontario Pork is looking for producers to help with the pig barn at the CNE's Model Farm later this month.

Over two million people are expected to see the pig barn over the Exhibition's two-week run.

Ontario Pork calls helping staff the PigMobile display a great learning opportunity for the whole family.

It's also a chance for pork producers to meet with hundreds of thousands of consumers who have never met a farmer or seen a live pig.

Volunteers are needed for the CNE's two-week run from August 19th to September 5th.

Volunteers will be provided with free admission and an honorarium to help cover their costs.

Any pork producers interested should get in touch with Ontario Pork as soon as possible.
