About 1/3 Of CNE Ambassador From Midwestern Ontario

The Ambassador of the Fair's competition is set to run August 19 to 21.

This year, 23 of the 75 contestents in the CNE's annual contest are from midwestern Ontario.

The winner will represent the CNE and all agricultural fairs for the coming year.

Over 3000 young people have taken part in the contest since it began in 1971.

Last year, Ashley Jeffries of the North Easthope Agricultural Society was the first runner up in the CNE Ambassador of the Fairs competition.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
