Bruce-Grey, Lambton-Middlesex OFA Director Voting Underway

Ontario Federation of Agriculture members in Bruce-Grey are among those now voting for a Zone Director.

On-line and phone balloting open yesterday.

It wraps up September 9th.

The Bruce-Grey election is between current director Paul Wettlaufer and challenger Pat Jilesen.

One other OFA zone has an election this year - Lambton-Middlesex.

That's where current Federation President Don McCabe is facing a challenge from Crispin Colvin.

Three other OFA zone director positions were filled by acclamation.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
