4-H Go for the Gold Held in Clinton

Five teams across Huron, Perth, and Grey County faced off at the United Church in Clinton Wednesday night in the 4-H Go for the Gold competition.

The participants competed for the chance to represent Region 5 at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto this November.

Huron County hosted the event. Huron 4-H Lifestyle coach Marita Oudshoorn says the 4-H members were asked to answer 60 questions from different 4-H project areas.

The topics range from livestock, crops, machinery, and farm safety to food and nutrition, life skills, and also general questions about 4-H, their communities and current events.
