Huron County Plowing Match Gets Rain Just In Time

The President of the Huron Plowmen's Association says mother nature did an amazing about-face just in time for this year's Huron County Plowing Match.

Neil Vincent says the seven millimetres of rain in the last few days made the soil perfect by Friday.

Vincent adds there are several IPM committees that are currently very active in getting ready for the 2017 IPM in Walton.

Brian McGavin was named top Senior plowman with Shawn Ryan the top Junior.

The Don Dodds Award for highest visitors score went to Tom Evans.

And Harold Walker won the Huron County Plowing Match's Antique Plowing championship title.
