CYL Mentorship Recipients Announced

The recipients of the 2016 national Cattlemen's Young Leaders mentorship program have been announced.

Jason Hurst of Guelph was one of the 16 selected from the final-round group of 23.

Recipients were named at the Canadian Beef Industry Conference in Calgary earlier this month.

CYL says each person selected will be paired up for the next 8 months with a mentor in the industry.

They feel the program gives participants the change to explore a potential career choice while gaining the experience needed to sustain the future of Canada's cattle industry.
