New OSCIA President Coming

The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association will have a new President in 2017.

Mack Emiry of Massey was the first Vice President of the OSCIA and has been acclaimed as President Elect.

Association President Gord Green says Emiry and his family did a great job in presenting their work among a diverse North Eastern Ontario agricultural landscape.

The Emiry family currently runs an 800 acre farm in the Sudbury District where they milk 110 cows.

Crops grown on the century farm include hay, silage corn, barley and soybeans.
