FarmSafe Foundation Receives $5,000 For Grain Safety Program

$5,000 has been donated to the FarmSafe Foundation.

DuPont Pioneer announced the donation to the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association's program yesterday.

The funds will be used to educate youth about grain safety.

More specifically, FarmSafe will build a display which will be used as part of the upcoming Grain Safety Program to further educate youth in rural areas.

Marcel Hacault, CASA's Executive Director, says moving grain is a constant risk on farms and can trap a person in less than 25 seconds.

He's adds the donation will help to get the new resources out to students soon.
