OSMA Announces Elected Officers

The Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency has announced its elected officers for the next year.

District 4 Director Robert Scott has been elected Chair for a second term.

Marc Carere was once again elected as Vice-Chair.

Holstein's Jay Lewis has also joined the board as the new director for District 2.

Lewis replaces the void left by Dennis Fletcher, who retired after nine years on the board, including four as Chair.

At the recent OSMA annual general meeting, Scott thanked Fletcher for his near decade of dedication and leadership.

He added he's looking forward to working with the current group of directors and farmers moving forward.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
