Royal Events Available Through Streaming

It's opening day for the 2016 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and the Beef Farmers of Ontario want to make all aware there's no reason to miss any part of the beef shows.

For the first time, the Royal will be streaming all shows held in the Ring of Excellence.

The national Angus and Charolais shows will be part of this year's fair as well as the breed shows for Hereford, Simmental, Limousin and Shorthorns.

The National Juniors and Queen's Guineas will also be held there.

If you can't make to the shows be sure to go online to www.royalfair.org and click on the Live button in the top left corner.

BFO notes beef shows will be spread out across the first four days of the fair.

The Masterfeeds Supreme Beef Champions Show is set to start at 3:30 p.m. on November 7th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
