The Royal is an important event to share our agricultural story with an urban audience with thousands of daily visitors, including the school groups. The weekdays at the Royal have been busy with great questions from school groups with topics including sustainability, GM crops, end uses of grains, soil types and geographical questions. The Growing Connections trailer has also brought media attention with a Weather Network shoot and a segment with the Social Common. The Social Common is two Toronto based bloggers that provided an opportunity for further outreach to an urban audience.

If you plan to attend the Royal this year, look for us in Exhibit Hall B near the Ring of Excellence.
