Payment By Deduction Option Gone With December Quota Exchange

In case you missed it, the Dairy Farmers of Ontario have removed the option of payment by deduction.

The elimination of the option will begin with the December 2016 quota exchange.

DFO says the board made the decision due to the amount of quota that's expected to soon be available and the large number of producers not able to complete the full payment of their quota purchase via the deduction option.

The board notes payment by cheque, bank wire transfer, telephone and online banking are all still options.
