September Milk Sales Down From 2015

Statistics Canada reports a decrease of half a per cent in milk and cream sold in our nation for this September from the same month in 2015.

Sales of milk were down 0.8 per cent on the year.

Here in Ontario, the amount of milk sold off farms was actually up by 4 per cent from September of 2015.

However, that amount was down by 2 points from this August.

StatsCan also notes cheese stocks for the country have increased by 3.5 per cent from a year ago.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
