Canada's First Non-GMO Cheese Coming In 2017

80 years ago, Bothwell Cheese was born -- next year the company will release a line of products as the first Canadian Non-GMO verified cheeses.

The independently owned premium cheese maker started as a cooperative by a group of Manitoba dairy farmers.

Bothwell Cheese President Kevin Thompson says the company has a long history of cheese innovation.

He adds he's proud to be part of bringing the added non-GMO option to families across the country.

The new cheese line will be made of milk from dairy cows which are fed exclusively non-GMO crops.

Bothwell Cheese notes it already produces more than 25 varieties of cheeses which are made with all-natural ingredients and 100 per cent Canadian Milk.
