GFO: March Classic Early Registration Open

Early registration is now open for the March Classic, Grain Farmers of Ontario’s annual conference for farmers and industry. The event will be held on March 21, 2017 at the London Convention Centre in London, Ontario.

This year, the theme is Leading Through Change. Conference attendees will see presentations from speakers General Rick Hillier, journalist and speechwriter David Frum, business consultant Jolene Brown, and broadcaster Terry O’Reilly. The conference also features over 60 exhibits, book signings, and more.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
