4-H Canada Gets Funding From FCC

253 4-H clubs across the country are getting support for local events and activities.

Farm Credit Canada is giving each up to $500 through its 4-H Club Fund for a total of nearly $125,000.

Todd Klink, FCC's Chief Marketing Officer, says the federal farm lender likes to take a long-term view on agriculture.

He feels 4-H programs lead to many possibilities for young people to work in farming or in one of many ag-related careers.

FCC notes the money can be used for projects such as achievement days, workshops, equipment, field trips and more.

The full list of recipients can be viewed at www.fcc.ca/4-H.
