Farmland Health Incentive Program Still Taking Applications

The deadline for application to the Farmland Health Incentive Program has been extended into 2017.

The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association says the application process will remain open until the funding has been fully allocated.

Up to $50,000 is available per farm business of the course of the three-year program.

Financial support will be given to projects which support the implementation of cover crops, crop nutrient plans, windbreaks, erosion control and buffer strips.
