Ontario Poultry Cleared For Sale To Taiwan

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says poultry meat products from Ontario can once again be shipped to Taiwan.

The agency notes the restrictions put on the meat from Taiwan due to the H5N2 strain of avian influenza have been lifted.

It adds poultry from our province slaughtered any time after December 1st can now make the trek to Taiwanese buyers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
