Huron County Junior Farmers Elect Several New Executives

The Huron County Junior Farmers have a few new additions to their executive committee following last week's annual general meeting.

At the Huron County Federation of Agriculture office in Vanastra, members elected Murray Dale as Vice-President, as well as Kurtis McNichol, James Gibson and Samantha Klaver to various director and representative positions for their first terms.

Adam Henderson was re-elected President for a final term.

Sierra Lamb-Downey will spend another year as Treasurer along with Becky Aikens, who is back as Secretary and Provincial Director.

Also at the meeting, the group shared highlights of events from 2016 and prepared for their upcoming new member night.

That event goes Thursday evening at the Docks in Bayfield at 8pm.

More information on the night and the club can be found on the Huron Junior Farmers Facebook page.
