BFO and ROI Team Up For BUILD Program

The Beef Farmers of Ontario and the Rural Ontario Institute are once again teaming up for the BUILD Leadership Development program.

BFO notes applications for this year's edition of the program are currently being accepted.

The upcoming session is a condensed version, and will run from April 18th to the 21st in Smith Falls.

BFO also points out the program has graduated 75 participants, giving them knowledge and confidence to excel as leaders to move Ontario's beef industry forward.

The BUILD program touches on topics like meeting management, leadership styles, board roles and responsibilities, as well as how to empower others.

The fee is $150 and is refundable upon completion of the course.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
