Junior Farmers Winter Games Comes To Huron County

Saturday morning, 150 Junior Farmer members will converge on Clinton and Vanastra for the Winter Games.

The Huron County Junior Farmers will play host to 18 other clubs from across Ontario.

The clubs will compete in events such as curling, indoor soccer, volleyball, basketball and floor hockey.

Organizers note there'll also be two mystery events.

Huron members David Nivins, Adam Henderson, Kurtis McNichol, James Gibson, Murray Dale, Samantha Klaver and Becky Aitkens are too busy to compete this year as they've joined forces to put on the festivities.

Huron county last hosted the annual event in 2011.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
