Canada Agriculture Day Nearly Here

Canada's inaugural celebration dedicated to agriculture goes tomorrow.

CEO of Farm & Food Care Canada Chrystal Mackay says Canada Agriculture Day presents an opportunity to get involved with the conversation around food and farming.

Festivities in Ottawa kick off with an Agriculture More Than Ever luncheon at the Marriott, featuring a presentation from the Farm Credit Canada President and CEO Michael Hoffort.

The afternoon will include talks from federal Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay and McDonald's Canada CEO John Betts.

FCC notes the afternoon portion will be broadcast on-line by Agriwebinar.
