FCC Increases AgriSpirit Funding For Canada's 150th Anniversary

Over the last 14 years, Farm Credit Canada has awarded between $5,000 and $25,000 to rural community groups though its AgriSpirit funding campaign for various community improvement initiatives.

To acknowledge Canada's 150th anniversary, additional funds have been added to bring this year's total awards to $1.5 million.

Rural groups interested in applying for project funding can check out the requirements for eligibility online at www.fccagrispiritfund.ca.

FCC notes, since the AgriSpirit Fund began in 2004, the lender has supported more than 1,000 capital projects in rural Ontario worth a total of $10.5 million in donations.
