Dairy Farmer Faces Mischief Charge After Dumping Liquid Manure Outside Quebec Union Office

A big cleanup was needed outside of the Farmer's Union office in Longuiel, Quebec.
12,000 litres of liquid manure was sprayed in the parking lot of the union's office on Monday by a 66-year-old man driving a tractor pulling a tanker filled with liquid manure.
The man was arrested and faces charges of mischief over $5,000.
A spokesperson for the union says it's believed the suspect is a struggling dairy farmer facing financial difficulties, so they don't wish to file a complaint against him.
